TRANSPORT BOX FOR ONE ANIMAL
The present invention relates to a transport box for an animal in a vehicle, in particular in a car, wherein the transport box of soil and side elements, a rear wall and at least one cover element and a door element is composed.
STATE OF THE ART
To transport animals, especially dogs, in vehicles, especially cars, transport boxes are used. These are usually in the trunk of the vehicle and represent an important safety measure to protect the animal and the occupants dar. In addition to universal boxes that fit in the trunk of each vehicle, there are also customized transport boxes according to the trunk dimensions of the respective vehicle types. In addition, transport boxes are also known, which are designed for use in the rear or passenger seat.
Transport boxes are made according to the prior art of aluminum profiles and thin wood press panels, wood multilayer or other plate material, such as. Sheet metal and have a lockable door or more lockable doors. In order to provide the animal with a view and to allow sufficient ventilation, the wall elements are usually at least partially, formed by crossbars or posts. Options may be an escape door or emergency exit to bring the animal in an accident or danger in the vehicle compartment, be provided. Disadvantageously, the assembly of many individual profiles and plates designed very expensive and requires some practice and the appropriate tool.
Furthermore, the said transport boxes are large bulky products and cause high costs in warehousing and transport to the customer or middleman, since mostly air is stored or transported.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
Object of the present invention is to provide a cost-effective, safe, and transportable transport box for animals.
SOLUTION OF THE TASK
To achieve the object, that the side elements and / or the bottom element and / or rear wall and cover element each consist of a sheet-like element which is connected with profiles, wherein the profiles have grooves which serve to receive the sheet-like elements ,
The assembly, preferably by the customer, designed therefore particularly simple because items of the transport box are already pre-assembled into subgroups. Preferably, the subgroups are chosen so that they transport as well as possible, so are flat.
The inventive kit can in all possible embodiments of transport boxes, such as individual boxes or double boxes, preferably in the typical A-design, i. the floor area is larger than the floor area of the lid. Preferably, the transport boxes have a width between 45cm and 100cm, a depth between 63cm and 93cm and a height between 58cm and 68cm.
Basically, the kit according to the invention preferably has a door element, and two side wall elements, which are already completely pre-assembled and edge profiles at their edges, preferably with grooves for mounting the subsequent elements. In this case, the side elements preferably consist of a wooden plate, for example in the lower two thirds, or the like and in the upper third of bars. In a further preferred embodiment, which is also encompassed by the idea of the invention, the side or wall elements can be made entirely from a flat material, such as, for example, multilayer boards. For ventilation then recesses in circular, rectangular, slot shape. Like. In the sheet material are introduced.
The door element is preferably formed continuously from rods. In this case, common connection methods, such as welding, or plug-in elements made of plastic od. Like. Included in the inventive concept. Of course, the inventive concept also includes the formation of the wall elements completely made of sheet material, grid or rods. Furthermore, the kit contains tailored wood or multi-layer panels, which form the bottom, cover and part of the rear wall. For their connection, as edge protection and as rod elements for a region of the back further aluminum profiles are attached. Of course, these aluminum profiles can also be pre-assembled on the floor, lid and / or back wall. The idea of the invention should of course also include the use of materials other than wood and aluminum, such as plastic or other metals.
According to the invention, the individual elements can be mounted via connectors to a transport box. In this case, the connectors preferably extend over the length of the later edges. It also makes sense to support the connectors with adhesive, sealant or adhesive sealant, the adhesive also performs a sealing function. In principle, a transport box according to the invention according to the modular system can also be mounted without the use of adhesive or sealant. For a disassembly of the transport box is readily possible at any time.
In addition, the individual elements, preferably at the corners, can be fixed via a further connection. For this purpose, all known in the prior art connection types are suitable. For a screw connection, it is advisable to introduce into the edge profiles, which each have a channel with an internal thread, a threaded sleeve. This then takes the screw, which is guided by the element to be fixed on.
Since the kit is preferably intended for self-assembly at the customer, it proves to be advantageous to supplement the scope of supply by suitable screws and the appropriate tools and aids adhesive, hexagon, etc.
Basically, inventive transport boxes can be configured as universal boxes, so a size suitable for the trunk of all types of vehicles but also as a mass production for each vehicle type. In this case, for example, appropriate adjustments to the angle of the tailgate, rear seat, width and height of the rear compartment, loading sill, etc. are met.
Of course, should also be provided that the assembled from the inventive kits transport boxes are delivered completely assembled to the end customer. The modular system then minimizes storage costs and the assembly time and thus the production costs.
To prevent the animal when loading and unloading loading edge and bumper dirty and scratched, an entry into the transport box may be associated with a mat. This is preferably connected to a side or bottom element via a Velcro connection. Other types of connections are possible here. Furthermore, the mat z. Eg by a rubber tensioner, push buttons or similar. be fixed to the transport box to prevent jamming when closing on the tailgate.
DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to preferred embodiments.
The drawing shows in FIG. 1 a plan view of components of a modular system, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of a profile of the modular system, [0020] FIG. 2/11
Austrian Patent Office AT 12 271 U1 2012-03-15 [0021] FIG. 3 End views of the profiles of the modular system according to FIG. 2; Figure 4 is a rear view of a front element of the modular system with door; Figure 5 is a side view of a side wall of the modular system; Figures 6 to 7 different stages of assembly of the dog box.
A modular system for a dog crate includes a lid 1, a bottom 2 and a back panel 3 as shown in FIG. A corner profile 5 (see FIGS. 2 and 3) is pre-mounted on a rear edge 14 of the bottom 2. A similar end profile 6 is associated with a rear edge 15 of the lid 1. 3 shows the front view of corner profile 5 and end profile 6. The modular system further includes four rectangular profiles 7.1 to 7 4 and a U-profile 4, according to FIGS. 2 and 3, a door element 8, corresponding to FIG. 4 and two side walls 9.1, 9.2, FIG. according to Figure 5. In the modular system then adhesive and fasteners are still included.
The plates 1 to 3 are preferably made of a thin, stable multilayer plate. The profiles are preferably an aluminum profile. The U-profile 4 has a groove 10.
The corner profile 5 has a channel 22, are formed on the strips 23.1 and 23.2 with grooves 12.1 and 12.2. Both inputs of the channel 22 are provided with a thread, not shown. This serves to receive a threaded sleeve 13 with a corresponding external thread and a central bore into which an internal thread is introduced.
The end profile 6 also has a channel 22.1 with a strip 23.3 and a groove 11. Female thread and threaded sleeves 13 are analogous to the corner profile 5 introduced into the channel 22.1.
In the rectangular profiles 7.1 to 7.4 two holes 21 are respectively introduced.
As shown in Figure 4, the door element 8 or front element on opposite sides in each case an end profile 6.1 and 6.2 with grooves 11.1 and 11.2. These are fixed via a rivet connection, not shown, to posts 30.1, 30.2 and 30.3. With the post 30.3 a door 29 is connected via two hinges 31.1 and 31.2. In the face profiles 6.1 and 6.2, two threaded sleeves 13 are used analogously to the corner profile 5 and end profile 6.
The side wall 9.1, 9.2 shown in Figure 5 has a frame 24. This consists of four profiles 25.1 to 25.4, which are connected via plastic corners 18.1 to 18.4. In each plastic corner 18.1 to 18.4 a through hole 19.1 to 19.4 is introduced. Each of the profiles 25.1 to 25.4 has a groove 11.3 to 11.6. Of the grooves 11.3, 11.4 and 11.5 each one of the plates 1 to 3 is added.
In the lower region, a side plate 26 made of the same material as the plates 1 to 3 is inserted into the frame 24. In addition, transverse bars 27.1 to 27.4, similar to the rectangular profiles 7.1 - 7-4, mounted between the profiles 25.1 and 25.3.
The mode of operation of the present invention is the following: To assemble a dog crate by means of the modular system, a liquid adhesive is introduced into the groove 10 of the U-profile 4 as a preparatory operation. In the groove 11.1 and 11.2 of the door member 8 and the grooves 11.3 to 11.6 of the side walls 9 also adhesive is introduced. When the side walls 9.1, 9.2 is to ensure that the adhesive is introduced only along the side plate 26 in the grooves 11.3, 11.5 and 11.6. Also in the still open groove of the corner profile 5, which is attached to the bottom 2, an adhesive or sealant is introduced.
Excess adhesive can be removed with a cloth. In order to ensure a relaxed working, an adhesive with a processing time of about one hour is preferably selected.
In a further step, the bottom 2 is inserted with a lateral edge 17 in the groove 11.3 of the side wall 9.1, 9.2. In this case, the channel 22 of the corner profile 5 comes with the 3/11 Austrian Patent Office AT 12 271 U1 2012-03-15
Threaded sleeve 13 to lie over the bore 19.1.
Now, the rear wall plate 3 can be inserted with a front edge 20 in the groove 12.1 of the corner profile 5 of the bottom 2 and also in the groove 11.5 of the side wall 9.1, 9.2. The U-profile 4 points upwards. The adhesive bond between the two components is achieved by the preloaded adhesive. By means not shown screws, which are guided from the outside of the side wall 9.1, 9.2 through the through holes 19.1 and 19.4 and each engage in one of the threaded sleeves 13 and 13.1 in corner profile 5 and end profile 6, the side walls 9.1, 9.2 are fixed. The adhesive in the grooves 12.1, 11.5, 11.3, 11.4 mainly takes over a sealing and filling function in order to avoid rattling of the plates in the grooves 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, 12.1.
After these preparations, the lid 1 is inserted with a lateral edge 16 in the groove 11.4 of the side wall 9.1. In this case, the channel 22 of the profile 6 comes to lie with the threaded sleeve 13 on the through hole 19.4. Then the partially assembled component is rotated so that it lies on the side wall 9.1.
Subsequently, the second side wall 9.2, according to Figure 6, set with their, lying on the inside grooves on the already mounted plates 1, 2 and 3. The through-holes in the plastic corners also come to rest over the threaded sleeves 13 in the channels 22.1 and the profiles 5 and 6. Since the adhesive also acts mainly as a seal against rattling, the final fix takes place again on the screw already described.
Except for the front element 8, the dog box is now completely assembled. For this purpose, the front element 8 is inserted between the opposite side walls 9.1 and 9.2 so that the profiles 6.1 and 6.2, each containing a threaded sleeve 13 in the two ends of its channel 22 , abut the through holes 19.1 and 19.3. The fixation is analogous to the screw connection already mentioned several times.
Finally, the rectangle profiles 7.1 are attached as cross struts between the side walls 9.1 and 9.2 by means of screws on the back of the dog box. These screws are preferably self-tapping. 4/11 Austrian Patent Office AT 12 271 U1 2012-03-15
